FANDEMONIUM!: Speed Run – Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth (Wii)

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth

Konami breathed new life in the Game Boy Classic… for us to burn through in record time.

Ah, it’s Sunday. Time for another edition of FANDEMONIUM!, where love of video games collide with creative endeavors.

This time, we’re looking at a remake of a game that came out back in 1989. Castlevania Adventures came out for the Game Boy back in the day, and since all that is old is made new again, Konami decided to re-release the game in 2009 with a fresh coat of paint and more responsive controls with Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth for the Wii.

Taking place in 1576, Christopher Belmont heads to Dracula’s Castle to kill off the Count because… that’s what Belmonts do.

Speed Runner Travis Hofman from Speed Demos Archive finishes the game in a little over 21 minutes. Nice!
