… November 6, 2012. There.
Okay, okay, I’ll blab more.
So it seems that Microsoft and everyone’s favourite TV personality Conan O’Brien were throwing around some Tweets that were teasing about some big event.
And then they made the announcement this morning that our favourite Green Suit-clad hero, Master Chief, will be making his glorious return to Xbox 360 this November in Halo 4.
“We are beginning a new saga with ‘Halo 4’ and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of ‘Halo’ games and experiences,” said corporate VP of Microsoft Studios Phil Spencer. “Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and, with ‘Halo 4’ leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.”
The baton was passed, with 343 Industries taking the helm of development from the formerly-owned Microsoft studio Bungie.
For those interested, Mr. O’Brien will have a special segment to celebrate Halo 4’s release date announcement tonight on his show, Conan, tonight.
