Support VSOG’s Extra Life 2012 Marathon!

Extra Life

Because we’re all for helping out the children!

I may not have kids of my own, but I love ’em. They’re cute lil’ bundles of joy (even if they’re flinging boogers from their noses). So it’s always hard to hear them going through a rough patch in the hospital.

Some of you have probably heard of Extra Life. For those that haven’t, Extra Life was started back in 2008 by the crew over at Sarcastic Gamer to help support Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across North America. The CMN Hospitals do wonderful things to help sick kids and give them the best medical care possible.

So how does Extra Life help CMN Hospitals? By asking gamers to sign up, choose one of their local Hospitals, raise funds and participate in a 24-hour video game marathon!

It’s a great cause, and I’m proud to say that I’ve thrown my hat in the ring (so to speak).

This Saturday, October 20th, I’ll be gaming for Opération Enfant Soleil. I’m raising funds so that they can keep helping sick kids across Quebec! 🙂

I put a lil’ widget on the sidebar there so that you can donate to my run. But it’s below, too. I know you guys are a generous bunch, so I hope you will consider donating. 🙂

Just so you’re aware, because you’ll be making a donation to a hospital outside the US, Opération Enfant Soleil will mail you your official tax receipt (the one sent to you via email after you donate won’t be good).
