Atlus has set a date for Vanillaware’s beautiful fantasy beat ’em up.
I’ve been chomping at the bit for Dragon’s Crown. This game’s got me so hyped, it’s not even funny. And finally, Atlus has revealed the official North American release date.
You will be able to go hunting for the fabled Dragon Crown on the PS3 and Vita on August 6th.
Atlus PR Manager John Hardin said on the PlayStation Blog that while there is no Cross Buy option for Dragon’s Crown, they’re working on making sure that players will be able to transfer their saves from one version of the game to the other. Also, the Vita version will have local multiplayer via ad-hoc mode.
The PlayStation 3 version will run ya $49.99 US, while the Vita version will be $39.99 US. Hardin mentioned in the Comments Section of the Blog that while there are currently no plans on releasing a demo (WHY NOT!?), there will be some delicious pre-order goodies which they will announce on a later date.
… dammit, August can’t come fast enough. I wanna play as the Wizard and run my fingers through his luscious hair.
No word yet on a European date, though… I’ll keep you guys posted, though.
Anyhoo, you guys hyped for this? Let me know in the Comments Section!
(Oh, and I’ll leave these Amazon links here in case you’re in the buying mood :P)
