Hi, My Name Is… (Ver. 2.0)

Hi My Name Is Ver 2

This journey of a thousand miles began with a single step. And I’m still marching!

On August 3, 2011, the very first post on Vast Sea of Games was released into the wild, for all the world to see. I had no idea what was in store for me; taking those first steps into full-blown webmistress mode. Sure, I’ve had blogs on other sites, but now, I’M the boss!

… ooo, boy πŸ˜›

It’s been an interesting two years, and I didn’t think I’d still be here; doing my thing (either due to burn out, or just not having time). But I am, and I’m glad.

I look at that first post… and I didn’t really stick to my whole “plough through the backlog plan” as closely as I had thought I would! πŸ˜† But, I’m having a blast being a bit more random than I thought, and I guess that’s all that counts.

Of course, I didn’t do all this alone. You helped me, after all. Yes, you! You, reading this right now whilst eating a bowl of Cocopuffs cereale in your DuckTales PJs. You were part of all of this delicious chaos, whether you knew it or not πŸ˜›

And let’s not forget all those folks who write about videogames news and reviews everyday, several times a day. That’s not an easiest thing in the world.

So, it’s time to give thanks!

To those who have been coming here from the very beginning… thank you.

To the small number of people who come here regularly to read my shenanigans… thank you.

To those who poke their heads in here not-so-regularly… thank you.

To those whom I’ve met on the Twitterverse or on the Facebook page… thank you.

To those who write about videogames for a living and who just so happen to read this (though I doubt that)… thank you for being an inspiration (and for the news tidbits I post from you folks  )

I’m gonna try my hardest to make this the damn best lil’ space I can, so I hope you’ll stick around for my tomfoolery πŸ˜›

With that said… re-introductions for those who are visiting this blog for the first time!

Hi! My name is Sonji “Mineeva” Goodman. I’m still swimming through a Vast Sea of Games full of backlogs and game information. I’m still looking at fandom and general awesomeness. And I am eternally grateful to have ya along for the ride πŸ™‚

THANK YOU!!!!! [icon name=”icon-heart”]
