The Mighty One keeps getting mightier with mighty console POWER!!!
With only 14 days to go, Keiji Inafune’s Kickstarter campaign for his newest creation, Mighty No. 9, is sitting pretty at $2,217,330 with 38,565 backers.
Let me repeat that: $2,217,330. With 38,565 backers.
That’s a whole lot of Mega Man-starved fans, methinks, Capcom.
And because the project’s reached the $2.2 million Stretch Goal mark, we get a plethora of things along with it. Let’s see here…
- 2 more stages
- Mac / Linux versions
- New Game Plus + Turbo Mode
- Making of Documentary (along the lines of what Double Fine is doing with their game)
- Boss Rush Mode
- PS3 / Xbox 360 / Wii U Versions
… that’s right! In addition to PC, Mighty No. 9 will come out on Mac, Linux, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U! WOO!
But hold on! What about the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One? They’ll be out by the time Mighty No. 9 comes out!
Well, if they hit the $3.3 million mark, the game will go on the next gen consoles. So, if you want to see it come to next gen, head on over to the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter page and donate!
I’m gonna try my hardest to scrape together about $250… ’cause I want that strategy guide with Inafune’s signature.
Have you already donated to the Mighty No. 9 campaign? If so… what did you choose? If not… do you plan on donating? Either way, hit me up in the Comments Section!
