Now you can be a superhero next gen… well, almost.
Earlier today, NetherRealm Studios announced that there’s going to be an update to their DC superhero fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Injustice: Gods Among Us: Ultimate Edition will be dropping November 12th in North America and November 29th in Europe. This update will feature all the DLC content released so far, including DLC characters, character skins, and addition 60 S.T.A.R Labs missions. The soundtrack will also be thrown in there.
Ultimate Edition‘s coming out for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PC, and PS Vita. High Voltage Studios (who worked on Zone of the Enders HD Collection and the PC port of Mortal Kombat 9) will be handling the PC and PS4 versions, while Armature Studio (who did Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the Vita) will take care of the Vita version. The PS4 version will take advantage of the system’s features, such as video sharing, streaming, and Touchpad functions, and the Vita version will also incorporate touch controls.
It’s nice to see more fighting games coming out for the next gen for those who will make the jump next month, though I wonder why they won’t bring this over Xbox One (or Wii-U)…
Boon also teased on Twitter that there may or may not be a special announcement regarding Injustice next week:
Big INJUSTICE news next week? Perhaps.
