Because the tale of samurai love can’t be told enough times.
I’ve played Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom on the PSP (I really need to finish that review :?). I have Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi on PSP (but haven’t opened it yet). I just got my hands on Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi Limited Edition for my Nintendo 3DS. And now I can stare at Chikage Kazama on the big screen in glorious HD.
Aksys Games announced that they’ll be bringing Idea Factory’s Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi to the PlayStation 3. You’ll be taking on the role of Chizuru Yukimura, who ventures to Edo in search of her missing father. She runs into the Shinsengumi, a group sworn to uphold law and order in the name of the shogun, who are also looking for her father. All the while tension is rising as war is ever looming closer. Oh, and while Chizuru searches for a tiny little thing called, “love”.
So what’s gonna be different about the PlayStation 3 version? Well, there’s going to be additional stories available as downloadable content. I’m curious to see what kind of stories they’ll introduce.
I’ll bookmark the Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi teaser site for future reference (you should, too!). And knowing my weakness for Kazama… and all of the Shinsengumi… I’ll probably pick this up, too.
How excited are you for Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi? Will you pick this up? Let me know in the Comments Section!
