Minee Musings: Workin’ For My Virtuous Last Reward

Virtue's Last Reward - cast

Getting back in the groove is tough… so I’m going to play a game of betrayal instead.

Good day, gentle peeps! I trust all is well with you 🙂

I started getting back into the whole work schedule this past week, and it’s been… a hell of a lot tougher than I thought it would be! I’m still waking up early, but it’s been a bit more than tough to roll out of bed and get on my laptop to get started. It’s been getting a bit easier, though.

It’s also bit rough getting my Writing Cap on and get something written on here, though in all honesty I burnt myself out from daily blog writing months ago and I haven’t been able to get back into the same writing groove, try as I might. I hope that maybe I’ll get gradually back into it this year (slowly, but surely).

Well, between doing paid work and blog work, I’ve been getting my study on; working on getting a Computer Programming Languages Certificate. Though I started back in late September, I only started digging my heels in a week before Christmas. Yeah…

Anyhoo, I’m quite enjoying it, though so far everything I’m reading about is more a review than anything else. I’m looking forward to getting into the actual programming bits.

I’ve also been getting my game on. Though I’ve been occasionally pop on my PS3 to play Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus  (I will get my execution on arcade stick down pat once again!), I’ve been glued to my 3DS playing through Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. I absolutely adored 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors and was looking forward to getting into the sequel. I’m only about 20 hours in (those puzzles, man… they made me sit and think for quite a bit!), and so far I’m not disappointed. This is just as groovy as its predecessor. I’ve only seen one Bad Ending so far, and several “false ends” (i.e. I couldn’t keep going on my current path for some reason or another and had to choose another path). Suffice it to say, it’s been hard to put away my 3DS and I’m looking forward to finishing the game proper. WEEE!

Well, that’s about all from my side of things. Now I turn it over to you, dear readers. What have you been playing recently? Let me know in the Comments Section!
