Well, now that you’re done sailing away with whales and searching for buried treasures in Assassin’s Creed 4, you’ll be strolling the streets in one of the most romantic countries of the world… that is, if these murmurs pan out.
The folks over at Kotaku got some intel from an anonymous source, indicating that not only will there be two Assassin’s Creed games coming this year; one of them will take place in 18th Century Paris. The game will star a brand new Assassin, and features some brand new mechanics (like having buttons to “parkour” up and down).
This instalment of Ubisoft’s popular franchise, code-named (or actually named) Unity, will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year. The other game, code-named Comet, will be on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and possibly PC (no word on a Wii U game).
Kotaku posted some other early images, which you can check out at the link above. While it’s always cool to see a new Assassin’s Creed game, I’m always concerned that people might be feeling a bit of Creed burnout (if they haven’t felt so already). Hell, I still haven’t picked up Assassin’s Creed 4…
