Arc System Works Localized Bloodrayne Betrayal for Japan

Bloodrayne - Crimson SlayerBloodrayne! WOOO!

So… Arc System Works isn’t working on something new new…

Remember last week when Arc System Works launched a teaser site that hinted they were working on something related to the Bloodrayne series? Well, turns out that they’re in charge of localizing the last Bloodrayne game, Bloodrayne Betrayal, for the Japanese market.

Renaming it Bloodrayne: Crimson Slayer, Arc System Works is bringing the game to the PlayStation 3 as a downloadable game on May 1st.

Developed by WayForward and published by Majesco Entertainment, Bloodrayne Betrayal was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in September 2011 in North America and Europe. The game’s got an average of 69 on Metacritic for the PlayStation 3 version and 68 on Xbox 360, and is coming out on PC on April 30th.

So… that’s that. I never did get a chance to play it, so maybe I should check it out.

Check out the trailer below, and let me know in the Comments Section if this was what you expected. Also, if you’ve played Bloodrayne Betrayal (did ya like it?) or if you intend on picking it up for PC.
