Back to Basics and Finding the Child of Light

Child of Light - Yoshitaka Amano

VSOG’s move is all done. Now it’s time to get back on the horse.

Man, I need to take a mop to this place!

It’s been nearly a month since my last post, and since then, I’ve been busy finding  a new home for VSOG, as my former webhost just wasn’t cutting it anymore. After a lot of research, I’ve finally settled on a host, and as I said on the Facebook fan page, the migration went rather well. On top of that, I’m doing some work to do for my former workplace (though it’s temporary, but it makes Mr. Wallet happy).

Now that all that funny business is behind me, I can go back to doing more fun things. Like playing games!

Today is Victoria Day (though here in Québec, it’s National Patriots’ Day, but meh), and I’m taking the day to relax and get some other things done. And what better way to celebrate our sovereign’s birthday than to play a game about a future monarch — Child of Light.

Child of Light - sword

I really enjoyed this game, and finished it last night, though there are some little things I missed. Nothing required for Trophies (nabbed all of them), but I like to get 100% and find all the coffers I’m missing. The review’s in progress and should be up in a couple of days(… maybe :P).

Another game that I was playing (before getting into Child of Light) was Knytt Underground. It’s an interesting game with lots of exploration and so far, I’m digging it.

I should get back to mopping up around here before I get back to writing. ‘Til then, let me know what you guess have been up to in the Comments Section!
