Square Enix raised $40,000 to help with the Typhoon Haiyan relief.
Last November, Typhoon Haiyan wrecked havoc in the Philippines, causing 6,000 deaths and affecting over 14 million people. It’s heartbreaking to hear such things, and we all want to do what we can to help.
Square Enix held a special Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Game Launch Exhibition in March. This exhibition, which coincided with the release of Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster, featured over 50 pieces of art from Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X2 that fans could bid on. The exhibition is long over, and Destructoid reports that $40,000 was raised to help UNICEF with their relief efforts in the Philippines. Good job, everybody!
There’s some really nice pieces, like the Tidus/Yuna kiss above. Check out the exhibition link above to see ’em. Which one would you of bought if given the chance? Let me know in the Comment Section!
